This year I participated again in the RailsRumble competition together with Daniel Hernández and Carlos Hernández.
Our submission SaaSmetrics is a web application with a REST API to monitor the financial health and key metrics of your subscription based business. We based the metrics and calculations on the post “How to Track Six Key Metrics for Your Web App” by Ryan Carson.

Overall it was en extremely tiring but awesome experience and I’m sure I’ll participate again in the next editions.
I still haven’t had the chance to look at all submissions but these are some of the projects that I have found interesting or neat:
Last tuesday I gave a presentation at our local Ruby/Rails user group. I covered Rack and Sinatra, the microframework for building web applications in Ruby.
